Practical Boat Owner – December 2016
David Harding reports on the Dufour 350 and “Found it hard to find any fault with the way the 350 sailed.”
Designed by Umberto Felci the Dufour 350 exhibits the same sleek lines as the rest of the Grand Large range. On the water she is no slouch and offers great performance on and off the wind. There are a choice of sail packs and options so you can specify equipment levels depending on how you enjoy your sailing. Keep it relaxed and hassle free with a self taking jib or create a more sporty feel by adding the Grand Prix Pack.
Above and below decks you will be impressed by the feeling of space generated within this 34 footer. With the beam being carried all the way aft this allows for plenty of space to move around the cockpit and unusually large aft cabins. The open saloon is bright and airy with heaps of natural light from the large deck lights and opening double doors into the forward cabin create an abundance of space.
Dufour’s attention to detail is not missed on the quality of the fittings and amount of natural wood evident around the yacht. You will be assured that the Dufour 350 is a quality yacht designed very well and built to an equally high standard.
PBO Says … “There is no doubt that she does what she is designed to do very well indeed !!”
