Race Training Days & Weekends

Our race-training weekends are designed to take you through all the elements of what makes a racing yacht successful.

You will have the opportunity to try the various positions on board under the guidance of one of our experienced skippers, learn new skills and understand how good communication and team work is critical to performance.

Areas covered will include:

  • Sail & Boat Handling, including tacking, gibing and headsail changing
  • Sail trim (Up and Down wind)
  • Spinnaker handling, including hoists, drops and gybes
  • Tactics & Navigation

Why not Incorporate either a JOG or RORC race into one of our training sessions. Practice on the Friday before taking part of any one of the numerous offshore events taking place throughout the year.
