In addition and new for 2008, Universal Yachting is pleased to be able to offer a recently launched Sealine T60 and a Marten 49. The ultimate in luxury, these highly prestigious vessels are available for both private and corporate charter. They are offered with a skipper and hostess and are available for a range of bespoke events.

Solent sailing area & places of Interest
The Solent and surrounding waters offer a fantastic locale and cruising ground to explore. Located at the heart of the UK yachting scene, there are endless arrays of harbours and anchorages to explore. Whether you are looking for peace and tranquillity or seeking a lively social scene, you are spoilt for choice.
The River Hamble is an ideal place to start your charter; centrally located within the heart of the Solent with easy road and rail access you can be in open water within moments.
There are a variety of places to visit all within easy reach whether you are just out for a day or perhaps planning a longer trip.
To the west lies the New Forest with the natural and peaceful Beaulieu River, next stop Lymington before exiting the Solent through the dramatic Needles channel for the short hop to Poole harbour.
To the east lies historic Portsmouth; with moorings around the harbour entrance at Haslar and Gunwharf Quays. Alternatively Port Solent at the top of the harbour offers an array of restaurants and a 6 screen cinema.
Of course no Solent charter is complete without a visit to Cowes, the mecca of sailing with a history of sailing and racing.
Sailing right round the Isle of Wight is a popular day cruise.For those with more time available a quick trip across the Channel is an option and with the French Coast only some 14 hrs away there can be nothing better than a long weekend away in France. |
